Did You Know?
Approximately 8% of the Ghanaian population experiences some form of disability, meaning a significant number of children could benefit from early intervention services. However, due to limited access to healthcare and awareness, many children with disabilities in Ghana are not identified or receive necessary support until later stages, highlighting the importance of early intervention programs.
As a result, a significant proportion of children with disabilities in Ghana do not attend school due to barriers like limited access to specialized education, poverty, and societal stigma that keep these children hidden and unhelped but we can make those who are invisible.....VISIBLE!
MEET CHRISTINA JARAMILLO
Our Visible Missions Ministry Director
Eight years ago, the Jaramillo family embarked on a life-changing journey, serving children with disabilities in Ghana, Africa. As a nurse, Christina joined her husband Jonathon on a medical team, offering therapy and care. They encountered heartbreaking stories of neglect, abuse, and even the tragic loss of children due to deep-seated cultural stigmas. Yet, in the midst of this great need, she saw the undeniable power of the gospel bringing hope and healing. That is when Christina answered the call to make a long term difference.
As Christ Life Church’s Missions Director and The Visible Executive Director, she keeps bringing the love of Jesus to these special children and families, breaking societal shame, and equipping them with spiritual and practical tools.

Annual Missions Trip
June 1-12, 2025
We are always looking for kingdom partners so we can reach more children and families!
If you’re medical professional or ministry leader who is wanting to join us on a mission trip, please note what you will need the following:
- Current passport
- Yellow Fever Shot
- Pass criminal background check
- $3,000 to cover your expense of travel and lodging
Our annual mission trips are during the summer as that is when most people have flexibility in their schedules. Please contact Christina if you'd like more information!
